FAQ

You have questions? We have answers...

What are the ages of your campers?

All Children between the ages of 7-13 on the first day of camp are eligible.

Where is the Camp located?

Epic Summer Camp 2023 will be held at several locations in Orange and San Diego county.  The week of June 12-16 will take place at last years location, which is 2401 Irvine Ave, Newport Beach, CA.  Our location is on the Newport Beach/Costa Mesa border, close to the 55 and 73 freeways just under 2 miles from John Wayne airport.

The other weeks will be published once confirmed.

What precautions are you taking when it comes to COVID?

EPIC Magic Camp complies with all CDC recommendations for the State of California.  That being said… we do everything possible to keep it FUN.  For example:  Hand “Sanitation Stations” are set up throughout the camp.  When the campers hear the song “Can’t Touch This” (yes, the MC Hammer classic), it's time to sanitize!

What is the cancellation policy?

At EPIC Magic Camp, we base the number of counselors on the number of children registered. Therefore, cancellations must be done AT LEAST 2 weeks prior to the first day of camp.  A $50 cancellation fee PER CHILD is due and payable upon cancellation.

If cancellation is not done AT LEAST 2 weeks prior to the first day of camp, then there will be no refund whatsoever.

Cancellations must be received via e-mail: info@epicmagiccamp.com.

What is the Camper/Counselor ratio?

One counselor for every 10 campers.

Are the magic tricks different every week?

YES!  Different magic tricks every single day AND different magic tricks every single week.  In fact, EPIC Magic Camp currently offers four different 5-day wand courses (Purple Wand, Green Wand, Orange Wand and Blue Wand) … kind of like karate belts. Children can collect ALL of them.  And, as an added bonus, children that collect ALL color wands receive a FREE Black Wand!

And don’t worry.  Every course stands alone.  Unlike karate belts, children don’t need to “level up” to go to the next course.  And the best part… No experience is necessary for any of the courses.

Is the curriculum fun?

EPIC Magic Camp’s #1 rule is “HAVE FUN!” We use the internationally recognized Discover Magic Curriculum. It’s specifically designed to build character, confidence, and communication skills.  Children are having so much fun they don’t even know they’re learning.

I don't have a child that can attend, can I sponsor one?

We at EPIC Magic Camp LOVE our sponsors. Whether you want to sponsor a single camper or an entire camp (or something in-between) – Sponsorship is always welcome.  Please contact us for details at
We’ll make it worth your while.

How many campers do you allow each week? (What’s the max?)

At EPIC Magic Camp everybody has fun.  To keep it manageable, we limit enrollment to only 50. Be sure to sign-up early to guarantee your child a spot!

Why is the last day so special?

Did I not mention that this camp is EPIC?!?  After 4 fun filled days, your children deserve a Grand Finale.  And what happens on this final day?  There’s a pizza party, a student magic show, the Graduation Celebration and, to top it all off, yes…. A HUGE FOAM PARTY.

(Children are encouraged to bring swimsuits and towels. Foam party dependent on weather conditions)

What is a Foam Party?

Glad you asked...  We have partnered up with Foamy Fun (formerly Foam Diego) to bring you an Epic Foam Party on our last day.    They use hypo-allergenic, scent-free foam and bring in a huge cannon that rains down foam on the campers.  Check out www.foamdiego.com for more info and pictures.
